These terms apply to your use of the Grantey website and any advisory services you purchase from us. By using the site or buying a service, you agree to these terms. Grantey is operated by GRANTEY PRO EOOD, registered in Bulgaria under UIC (ЕИК) 208859731.
1. What Grantey does
Grantey provides independent guidance to EU university students on Erasmus+ grants and Dutch student finance and allowances. We help you understand and apply for what you may be entitled to. We are not a government body and we do not issue grants ourselves.
2. No guarantee of outcome
Eligibility for any grant or allowance depends on your personal circumstances and on decisions made by third parties such as DUO, the Belastingdienst, your university, or national agencies. We cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
- Submit your own applications and sign your own documents.
- Comply with all rules attached to any funding you receive, for example work-hour limits.
4. Fees, billing, and minimum commitment
- Pricing is shown on the site before you commit, and all prices include VAT.
- Our fees consist of a one-time setup fee plus a recurring monthly subscription.
- When you purchase a plan you commit to an initial minimum term of six (6) months. You agree to pay the monthly subscription for each month of this initial term.
- Payments are processed automatically by our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the setup fee and for each recurring monthly payment.
- You receive a digital invoice for each payment automatically.
- After the initial 6-month term, your subscription continues on a rolling month-to-month basis until you cancel.
5. Cancellation, renewal, and refunds
- Right of withdrawal: where applicable, EU consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. If you ask us to begin the service within this 14-day period and we do so with your express consent, and you then withdraw, you agree to pay a proportional amount for the work already carried out.
- Setup fee: the setup fee becomes non-refundable once onboarding has started with your consent. Before onboarding begins, and within any applicable withdrawal period, it is refundable.
- During the initial 6-month term you may not cancel for convenience, and the monthly payments for that term remain due.
- After the initial 6-month term you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period, and you are not charged for any period after that.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend your service until payment is brought up to date. Suspension does not cancel amounts owed during the minimum term.
- Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
6. Subscription Terms
- Your subscription begins on the date of your first payment.
- Initial term: 6 months, billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- Renewal: after the initial term, the subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- Auto-billing: each monthly payment is charged automatically to your saved payment method on your billing date.
- Cancellation: cancel any time after the initial term, effective at the end of the current billing period, by emailing hello@grantey.eu.
- Price changes: we will give you clear advance notice of any change to your subscription price, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any loss arising from our service is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide or by changes in government rules or third-party decisions.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, where Grantey is established. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
