Grantey ("Grantey", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Grantey is a service operated by GRANTEY PRO EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria under UIC (ЕИК) 208859731. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@grantey.eu.
2. Data we collect
We only collect what we need to help you:
- Contact details you provide: first name and email address.
- Eligibility information you submit through our qualify checklist: nationality, study status, work situation and hours, the service you are interested in, and the result shown to you.
- Messages you send through our contact form: subject, email, and message content.
- Limited technical information (such as pages visited, approximate location, and device or browser type), used for security, to keep the site running, and to understand how it is used.
We never ask for, collect, or store your BSN, DigiD or other government login credentials, banking logins, or passwords. We will never request these.
3. Why we use your data
- To assess your eligibility and respond to your enquiry.
- To provide our advisory service if you choose to work with us.
- To send you service-related communications and, where you have agreed, occasional updates.
- To keep our website secure and to improve our service.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Legal basis
We rely on: your consent (for the qualify checklist, the contact form, and any marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time); performance of a contract (when you become a client); our legitimate interests (keeping the site secure and improving our service); and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and lead data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us. If you become a client, we keep your records for the duration of our engagement and for as long as required afterwards by Bulgarian and EU law (for example, accounting records). We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
6. Where your data is stored and who we share it with
Your form submissions are stored in a database hosted within the European Union (Ireland). We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run Grantey, under appropriate data-processing agreements, including our website and database platform, our domain, security and email-routing provider, and our email provider. Some providers may process limited data outside the EU; where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses essential cookies needed for it to function and stay secure. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@grantey.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority, in particular the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни, www.cpdp.bg) or the authority in your own country.
9. Children
Our service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any material change will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
